PHY-OS Bone sarcoma and remodeling of calcified tissues (INSERM UMR 1238 )
October 2016 to November 2019
  • Using new drugs and RNA interference (si/shRNA) to target cellular stress proteins in bone cancer (Osteosarcoma)
  • Evaluating the effects of gene inhibition on cell processes (proliferation, death, migration, drug resistance...)
  • Working directly with bioinformaticians to find new therapeutic targets in bone cancer (high throughput experiments : RNA-sequencing, ChIP-sequencing, RPPA and RIME)
  • Studying the effects of gene inhibition on tumor growth in murine models (tumor cells injection, tumor volume monitoring, sacrifice, tumor characterization by immunohistochemistry)
  • Wrote an article (first author) on the inhibition of the MTH1 (NUDT1) enzyme in Osteosarcoma, and its therapeutic effects
  • Wrote a chapter in a published book, a protocole describing the good practice for gene expression analysis (from RNA extraction to primer design and qPCR)
  • First author in an yet unpublished study on the transcriptionnal network of the HSF1 trascription factor in Osteosarcoma
