- I was in charge of group of different teams with 140 engineers over France, Germany, United States, United Kingdom, India, Australia and United Arab Emirates.
- This group is responsible of the provide tools, services, support and expertise for operability, releases management and packaging and platform management of Amadeus products in order to provide integrity and usability of platforms delivered for validation to Customers or R&D teams.
- The group is working closely with R&D, Marketing, Product Engineering and Implementation groups and Operation teams.
Detailed Description
- Define the life cycles of our deployment units in a consistent and homogeneous way
- Specify, Coordinate and develop the solution to support and manage the overall test platforms needs to improve agility and quality of our products
- Manage and provide test environments for the different development cycle phases (Development, Integration, Qualification, User Acceptance Tests, Customer Validation Tests) for all Amadeus technological stacks (Mobile, Java Front-End, Java Back-end, C++)
- Provide guidelines and recommendations for operability, deployments & application management support in collaboration with production team
- Ensure ITIL principles to maintain usability and setup KPI and participate directly in the coordination of major activities related to platforms
- Communicate with R&D teams, Operation and Customers Facing organisations (ACO, SMC, Extended Account Teams …) or customers directly.
- Drive the definition of a strategy and technology direction and ensure it aligns with business goals, enterprise architecture directions and performance impacts and constrains regarding system and end user performances
- Define performance testing strategies to support integration of new technical stacks and impacts on performance methodologies, tooling, training needs
- Create and Maintain the Software Performance Development Lifecycle
- Provide the application to manage non functional requirements in Development cycle
- Ensure product high responsiveness, reliability & operability with HW resource optimization: performance regression, performance optimization & tuning
- This group has an established presence in all different sites (Boston, Sydney, London, Dubai, Dallas, Bad Homburg, Bangalore and Nice, and will maintain an R&D infrastructure in all the major development of R&D sites.
