Detailed Description
As a Payment Specialist, I provide consultation in the form of cost/effort estimation and technical design in respect to sales leads. I am responsible for ensuring that applicable solutions and projects are implemented according to project budget & scope, timeline and best practices, as well as compiling project documentation and exercising technical writing best practices at all times.
Involvement in the sales cycle includes successfully motivating the selected design approach and estimation breakdown to facilitate client approval/buy-in/sign off. Once customer sign-off has been obtained, I ensure that solutions and projects are specified and documented according to the agreed deliverables and processes.
General functions include internal and external reporting on progress, risks, actions, status, etc. and liaison with other client business groups where necessary. I also act as a technical consultant on products and customizations within the payments space.
