  • Infrastructures Technologiques Québec manage the network of the government of Quebec. This network offers a wide range of services based on high-speed optical fiber covering almost all of Quebec. It ensures high-performance, scalable, secure and robust connectivity. It allows, in particular, the pooling and sharing of government application services for all public bodies. My main role is to:
    • Develop new telecommunications services and maintain the evolution of existing services.
    • Advise and provide technical and economic expertise to clients in the field of data transmission.
    • Contribute to the operation and evolution of the management framework of Réseau Intégré de Télécommunication Multimédia (RITM).
    • Assist in writing the tender including the technical specifications for point-to-point services (dark fiber, illuminated fiber and Ethernet link), DNS, SD-WAN, cloud, firewall, Wi-Fi and internet.
    • Analyze the pricing grid for new services in conjunction with the market.
    • Develop feasibility study and data sheet for new services
    • Enhance the Wi-Fi service by implementing new functionalities using Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
    • Prepare and validate technical proposals according to the client requirements.
    • Prepare proposal submission to confirm technical feasibility and associated costs.
    • Detect performance abnormalities by analyzing capacity management reports and configurations.
    • Assist in writing and in validation of service offerings, billing solutions, business procedure document, installation guide and architecture guide.
  • Saudi Oger Ltd, was a Saudi construction company, incorporated in January 1978 with its headquarters in Riyadh. I was an electrical project engineer in charge of 5 sites located in Jeddah on the Red sea.
    My main role was to supervise the execution of the electrical systems such as grounding (earthing), lightning, power, fire alarm, communication and security systems. Main duties performed:
    • Supervised a group of subcontractors in day to day installations, works and activities.
    • Managed all of the contacts required for the completion of project while respecting the environment, health and safety, as well as cost, quality and schedule objectives, in close collaboration with the client.
    • Prepared as-built drawing onsite.
    • Calculated electrical cables sizes based on the actual consumption.
    • Designed of electrical panels including circuit breakers for heating, air conditioning and water pumps.
    • Worked closely to the design team to resolve mechanical and electrical coordination issues in respect to the code NFPA 70.
    • Prepared Bill of Quantity (BOQ) according to shop drawings.
  • Rabya is a Saudi company founded in 1974 and located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Its initial capitalization is approximately 80 millions USD.
    My main responsibility was supervising the installation of the electrical and communication systems rough-in work for the U.S. New Consulate Compound in Jeddah.
    • Estimated the cost of materials based on BOQ and project requirements.
    • Prepared the shop drawings using Autocad and Revit MEP.
    • Configured, implemented and installed of IP telephony and network devices
    • Resolved coordination issues of electrical and mechanical systems such as the intersections of systems specifically in shaft and corridor of the building.
    • Prepared as-built drawings onsite.
    • Organized the schedule of works and acquiring related materials onsite.
    • Ensured that the project complies with electrical safety and construction regulations, design requirements and equipment specifications.
    • Managed the human resources of approximately 120 electricians in a project of 9 buildings.
