Saudi Oger Ltd, was a Saudi construction company, incorporated in January 1978 with its headquarters in Riyadh. I was an electrical project engineer in charge of 5 sites located in Jeddah on the Red sea. My main role was to supervise the execution of the electrical systems such as grounding (earthing), lightning, power, fire alarm, communication and security systems. Main duties performed:
Supervised a group of subcontractors in day to day installations, works and activities.
Managed all of the contacts required for the completion of project while respecting the environment, health and safety, as well as cost, quality and schedule objectives, in close collaboration with the client.
Prepared as-built drawing onsite.
Calculated electrical cables sizes based on the actual consumption.
Designed of electrical panels including circuit breakers for heating, air conditioning and water pumps.
Worked closely to the design team to resolve mechanical and electrical coordination issues in respect to the code NFPA 70.
Prepared Bill of Quantity (BOQ) according to shop drawings.
