Mehdi Halit

Mehdi is a Senior Project Manager and Business oriented strategy seasoned consultant.

Mehdi was already an accomplished programmer with several "real"​ customers when he got a Computer Science Bachelor then a Master of Science from University of Lille 1 in France. Later he obtained a PhD in Computer Vision where he focused on combining different machine learning & statistical methods (Neural Networks , PCA, Deformable models) to pattern recognition and contour detection in medical images.

He started his career at HP JetCaps Europe in Paris, France as a R&D Engineer, then he moved to Schlumberger working for its MobileCom division (now GEMALTO after a spin-off) as a Smart-card developer, and then project manager to assist Account Managers with the development of customized applications for the Telecom mobile operators in the European and Middle-East market (Orange, Vodafone). He also managed mobility projects for market leaders like parking and transport operators : SNCF, RATP, Paris'​ City, Vinci, and many other cities in France for Parkeon, another spin-off of Schlumberger.

In 2005, he moved abroad in Algeria to start a new business career developing product and services in the Telecom market, where he spent almost 8 years in as Project and Marketing Manager working for different telecom operators and IT stakeholders, taking care of products and services management and development, business intelligence and business analysis.

Since 2014, he's focusing on developing his skills in Data Science and Business Analysis and apply its large know-how in Machine Learning and Statistics, based on almost 20 years experience in IT, Marketing and Project Leadership.

Mehdi is a performance-driven person with outstanding analytical and problem solving skills and a great sense of intuition.
