The Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology (BUMD) provides a unique opportunity for graduate students interested in systems neuroscience, applied anatomy, and/or a career in teaching in a medical school setting. Our research mission emphasizes the neuroanatomical basis of normal cognition, circadian rhythms, development, learning, and memory, and how these processes are disrupted in aging, autism, cerebrovascular disease and Parkinson’s disease.
