Laxman Narasimhan

Laxman Narasimhan is a transformational executive whose career spans over three decades of leadership and advisory work across some of the world's most recognized global brands. With fluency in six languages and hands-on experience across the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, he brings a truly international perspective to the complexities of modern business.
Laxman's professional journey reflects a rare combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and commercial acumen. He spent nearly two decades at one of the world's foremost management consulting firms, advising leading organizations across consumer goods, retail, consumer health, consumer technology, and industrials. He subsequently transitioned into senior operational leadership, where he drove strategic transformation, digital innovation, and strong business performance across multiple global organizations.

His expertise is grounded in a deep understanding of the forces reshaping markets today — from deglobalization and shifting consumer behavior to the accelerating rise of artificial intelligence. He is a respected thought leader who writes and speaks on the leadership of global companies, the evolving consumer landscape across the full spectrum from seed to shelf to fork to care, and the transformative role of technology in business.
Beyond his executive career, Laxman is an active investor, mentor, and counselor to leaders navigating complex and rapidly changing environments. He serves on the Board of Directors of Verizon, is a trustee of the Brookings Institution, and is a board member of Just Capital and Western Governors University. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and previously served on the UK Prime Minister's Build Back Better Council.

Laxman holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune, an MA in German and International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
