  • Monitor Disproportionality in the Juvenile Justice System for Youth of Color in Utah.
  • Work with various stakeholders in the Juvenile Justice System to address racial and ethnic disparities.
  • Coordinate and assist with ongoing projects and research regarding R.E.D.
  • • Advise close to 250 students in the Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Business
    Administration in Technology and Commercialization, and Master’s in Accountancy programs.
    • Organize student and alumni events, manage and edit class schedules, plan new student orientation,
    oversee all communications between the business school and students.

  • Advise current and incoming Honors students. Specializing in College of Social Behavioral Science, College of Social Work, and College of Business students.

    internship course COMM 3610 (about 60-80 students enrolled on
    average). Create and grade assignments for the course and track student internship hours.
  • Manage department undergraduate scholarships which includes updating scholarship
    application, materials, collecting and organizing applications, setting up
    awards for disbursement, and corresponding with scholarship
    recipients and honor society awardees.
  • Office duties as needed: answering phone calls, assisting front desk
    and faculty members, etc.
  • Help students understand the
    major and bachelor degree requirements and become familiar with
    different offices on campus.
  • Update and implement advising
    procedures, policies, and paper materials.
  • Knowledgable in federal financial aid regulations and procedures.
  • Assisted
    students with filling out FAFSA applications and interpreting FAFSA
    information.
  • Presented at high school conferences and information
    sessions regarding federal aid and college costs.
  • Responsible for processing multiple
    daily and weekly reports using Peoplesoft to ensure students were meeting proper federal financial aid guidelines.
