I worked primarily in the Kitchen as a part of the Fry Cook and Cashier Team. I worked at a fast pace in order to make orders. I also had other side tasks to work on simultaneously in order to fulfill the restaurant's needs during my shift. This job required good communication and teamwork skills. Crewmember communication was required to aid with the fast pace. I communicated with my co-workers using call-back phrases to determine the amount of food needed to satisfy a customer's order. These phrases also helped the team determine the number of customers in the drive-thru as well as the dine-in lobby.
I accepted and Responded to Delivery orders given to me by DoorDash in the Waco Area. I went and picked up the food at the restaurant of the order. Completed on-time deliveries by choosing the best and most efficient routes. I would communicate with the customer if an order had been delivered at the drop-off point. Verified orders prior to completing deliveries to avoid customer complaints.
Before the County Fair, I aided my supervisor in organizing people's crafts they submitted into a competition in the home arts department of the Orange County Fair. I also helped the competition judges write down the names of the contestants and the judge's comments. During the Fair, I helped open the exhibits for the guests. I sat at a few different stations to make sure people didn't bring in drinks, and I helped keep the exhibits safe. During the Fair, I also worked at the information booth in my department to help answer any questions a guest may have had, helped made them feel welcome at our fair, and made sure they could find an exact exhibit containing a work they wished to see.
I worked with my Father to help attorneys with a trial that they were currently in. I went and got lunch for everybody. I helped my dad get anything he needed. I helped my dad get the projector set up for use in court. I opened my Dad's mobile office up and started the air conditioning to make sure the attorneys had a comfortable rest place they could go on breaks. I went back and forth between the Firm and the Courthouse to make sure everything was going well and helped get stuff back and forth from the courthouse.
