My experience in having the final decision-making responsibilities for past employers has given me the willingness to make tough decisions, as well as giving me invaluable work and life experience. The positive impacts to the organizations with which I’ve been associated have been well documented, but none of the statistics directly related to my efforts tells my story as well as the outstanding and verifiable letters of recommendation from my past (and direct) supervisors.
I have the understanding and experience to manage a group and teach to a classroom. Additionally, I have the technical and clinical expertise to function autonomously in the physician’s office, patient exam rooms, and laboratory. I am adept in clinical product design, informatics and clinical performance within my scope of practice. I pride myself as a facilitator who is accustomed and comfortable with autonomy and team dynamics.
In my prior employment experiences, I have been held directly accountable to the governance and guidelines of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, American Bureau of Health Education Schools, Chicago Department of Public Health and the Department of Health and Human Services. Working with these governing bodies has helped me to further my understanding of operations and regulations under which we work. These work practices and continuing experience in the healthcare and informatics arena have served to expand and increase my overall value to my next employment experience.
