About Me
Corey Yoakam is the special education director for North Columbus Preparatory Academy in Columbus, Ohio. He began this position in 2021 following 2 years with Mercer County Schools in Mercer, Pennsylvania, where he served as the director of school safety and violence prevention for all 13 schools in the district. During his time in this role, he was chosen to join the Pennsylvania Department of Education Trauma-Informed education work group.
