About Me
A longtime Illinois educational leader, Andrew Jordan serves as principal for Donovan. In this role, he has overseen school improvement training that seeks to enhance teachers’ instructional practices via the Danielson rubric. Principal Andrew Jordan is also engaged in transformative efforts to address curriculum gaps and provide for better vertical alignment and trend-focused education.

A graduate of Stockton High School, Mr. Jordan achieved varsity gridiron results as quarterback and took the team to the state championship game in 2004. He also played varsity basketball on a team that achieved more than a hundred victories over the course of his high school career.

From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Jordan was a physical education and driver's education teacher at West Prairie High School. He also coached the varsity boys basketball team to progressively better results each year. His responsibilities included supervising sporting events and ensuring that effective student discipline was in place. Mr. Jordan has been active with the Watseka Chamber of Commerce and long spearheaded community activities such as a 5k run and the Stockton 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.

He has also built a strong leadership network with being well connected to other principals and superintendents throughout the state of Illinois.
