A longtime Illinois educational leader, Andrew Jordan serves as principal for Donovan. In this role, he has overseen school improvement training that seeks to enhance teachers’ instructional practices via the Danielson rubric. Principal Andrew Jordan is also engaged in transformative efforts to address curriculum gaps and provide for better vertical alignment and trend-focused education.
A graduate of Stockton High School, Mr. Jordan achieved varsity gridiron results as quarterback and took the team to the state championship game in 2004. He also played varsity basketball on a team that achieved more than a hundred victories over the course of his high school career.
From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Jordan was a physical education and driver's education teacher at West Prairie High School. He also coached the varsity boys basketball team to progressively better results each year. His responsibilities included supervising sporting events and ensuring that effective student discipline was in place. Mr. Jordan has been active with the Watseka Chamber of Commerce and long spearheaded community activities such as a 5k run and the Stockton 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.
He has also built a strong leadership network with being well connected to other principals and superintendents throughout the state of Illinois.
Half owner of J3 Timing. After Principal Andy Jordan finished his superintendent degree and CSBO Chief School Business Official certification he decided to commit 7 days a week to school and give up timing on Saturdays.

After completing his first masters degree in Educational Leadership, West Prairie Hired Andy Jordan as an assistant principal where he served for two years before taking an opportunity to become a head principal.
Mr. Andy Jordan currently holds a Ed.S. superintendent degree from Western Illinois University. Mr. Andy Jordan is finishing up a C.S.B.O. Chief School Business Official certification from the University of Illinois-Springfield and will have it December 2020.
Has led building with up tot 475 students and 60 staff members. Has also led an Elementary school, Middle school, and high school. Has been in the principal position for every K-12 grade and has learned about about education.
Has brought PBIS, Evaluwise, and led Donovan through the COVID 19 pandemic in education. Has transformed Donovan back to a well respected good school that is a fun place to work and learn at.
