Assisting federally recognized tribes obtain water quality standards for their waterbodies through the Treatment in a Similar Manner as States (TAS) Application process
Providing support to tribes on Clean Water Act, Section 518 and the submission process for TAS Applications
Managing 56 active TAS Applications for Tribal Governments
Communicating all updates on TAS Applications to EPA Regional Offices and their respective Tribes
Coordinating with the EPA Office of General Counsel and the Department of Interior for updates on Tribal TAS applications
Presenting at cross-agency meetings on current water quality standards, updates on the TAS Application process, and the proposed rulemaking: Federal Baseline Water Quality Standards for Indian Reservations
