Zvi Sperling is an experienced business leader who serves as the executive vice president of Maxim Group Companies, which comprises Maxim Lighting, ET2 Contemporary Lighting, 245 Vineland LLC, and Lucca Concepts, Inc. Zvi Sperling joined the firm in 1975 after studying business at Glendale Community College, at which time the corporation consisted solely of Maxim Lighting.
Maxim Lighting was founded in 1970 when Sperling’s brother started the company in his basement. In the near five decades since then, Maxim’s market share value has risen to approximately $30, with Sperling holding a 49 percent worth roughly $14 million. This growth was driven through domestic and international expansion. In 2005, Sperling helped open an East Coast facility in Atlanta, and the corporation launched a partnership in China in the 1990s.
Throughout his time as executive vice president, Sperling has instituted a variety of sales and financial programs. This includes the establishment of an international sales force which spans North and South America, as well as the Pacific Rim.
