A graduate of San Francisco State University, Zev Simon holds a bachelor of science in engineering. He leads a variety of real estate ventures based in the San Mateo and Hillsborough, CA, areas. Since 1980 Zev Simon has overseen development activities from design to construction as vice president of GDS properties.
In 2017 he founded Simon Project Management, where he identifies and pursues profitable development projects. Mr. Simon also oversees design and construction activities as president of GTD Ventures.
An active presence in the Jewish business community, Zev Ben Simon earned recognition from the California State Assembly and the Honorable William J. Filante for his civic contributions and leadership. Additionally, the City of San Francisco and the County of San Francisco honored him with the the Signum Laudis award for renovation of Jelani House, which serves women who are pregnant and in need.
When he is not working, Mr. Simon enjoys playing piano and tennis. He also supports community organizations including the CuriOdyssey science museum and zoo.
