Liaising with the main contractors, Consultants & Client representatives with respect to all Quality management Issues.
Liaise with site staff on matters concerning Quality.
Attend all external and internal as well as Site progress meetings.
Report any violation to Quality to Project Manager and issue NCR, if necessary.
Oversee the necessary follow-up action for Corrective & Preventive Actions, Site Instructions, NCRs, and Quality Observations.
Impart and enhance a culture of good QA/QC practice within subordinates, by instigating and leading awareness programs, and recommending training courses, wherever justified and deemed necessary.
Implementation of Quality management system on site.
Compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Maintenance & upkeep of QA/QC personnel discipline, to ensure that all inspection target dates and schedules are being met.
Ensuring that all necessary QA/QC related verification and control documentation is being generated by the QA/QC Coordinators, Engineers and Inspectors, and is recorded and registered by the QA/QC Document Controller(s).
Assisting with the compilation and review of Method Statements, generated by the project or management teams.
Maintain copies of Standards, Codes of Practice, and Local Authority Regulations, etc, as per the updates issued by the Corporate QHSE Department.
Monitor the status of the register(s) of testing & measuring equipment and instruments, maintained by the Storekeepers, including the calibration status in order to ensure accurate and reliable readings.
Agreeing and establishing an exit strategy, with all department heads, at an early stage of a project, to ensure that all contract deliverables are achieved, within the target dates set for project handover and close-out.
