Evaluate end client technical systems to determine the optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse source platforms and integrating the data into a business intelligence system
Develop customized data marts, design ETL packages, and integrate them between multiple data source systems
Provide specialized technical support and troubleshooting, develop analytical and ad-hoc reporting, and provide management with Key Performance Indicators and Dashboards
Provide estimates of effort and time of project implementation in accordance with internally developed processes and procedures and provide expert advice to guide proposals and presale activities with existing clients
Conduct specialized analyses by engaging with clients and internal teams to gather requirements
Develop and maintain internal requirements specification documentation, technical deployment and implementation guides, and process mapping for the specialized business intelligence, data warehousing, data reporting, and K2 business applications
Serve as the subject matter expert in business intelligence and data warehousing solutions for clients based in North America within the U.S. team
Serve as the subject matter expert in building, maintaining and upgrading HR related systems
Determine BI design strategies and methods for developed modules and components
Determine and find solutions for the key design issues of BI applications, for instance; distribution of components, error and exception handling and fault tolerance, interaction and presentation, and data persistence
Understand and verify the functional requirements of BI projects
Determine security and performance requirements of BI systems
Provide guidance/mentorship on programming practices and techniques to individuals and cross-functional teams
Support BI development team members and address projects technical challenges
Review code written by BI development team members
Ensure applications design and construction artifacts are stored correctly in source control system
Provide business and technical consultation on BI projects
Provide support on BI applications deployment and configuration on client environments
Responsible for BI engineering activities like coding using ETL, analysis & reporting tools, unit testing, integration with other modules, root cause analysis, debugging code, bug fixing, and process measurements
Responsible for preparing and deploying BI internal builds as per procedure
Prepare BI solutions packages for shipping to clients following process
