An experienced patent litigation attorney with Farney PC, William Bryan Farney has been involved in numerous cases during his career, including Micron Corp. v. Texas Instruments, Inc., and Lucent Technologies, v. Gateway, Inc., a patent litigation case where he achieved a favorable settlement for his client. In addition, William Bryan Farney represented Molecular Biosystems in cases involving three competitors.
Before beginning his career, he pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of Texas Law School, where he also served on the Board of Advocates and was the American Journal of Criminal Law’s executive editor. In addition, while in law school, he taught legal research to first-year students before being selected as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Court.
While serving at the Court, he clerked for Circuit Judge Marion T. Bennett and Chief Judge Glenn L. Archer, Jr., for two years. Following this, he began working as an associate at the law firm of Arnold, White & Durkee, where he was eventually promoted to partner.
