A Newnan, Georgia-based primary care specialist, Dr. Vishwas Kadam earned his medical degree at MGM University in 2000 and subsequently relocated to the United States, where he studied internal medicine at the University of Missouri. He then received a Physician Nutrition Specialist designation from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Public Health. Dr. Vishwas Kadam joined the internal medicine practice of West Georgia Physicians in 2011 and spent two years with the company.
Dr. Vishwas Kadam has since worked at Lagrange Primary Care, PC, East Alabama Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente, among other facilities. He is now in the process of launching the direct primary care medical practice Access Med MD. He also has a interest in Functional Medicine.
Through nearly two decades of medical experience, Dr. Kadam has managed Chronic Medical conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Disease, Hyperlipidemia, Osteoarthritis Nutrition related problems Vitamins and Trace element deficiencies, Obesity, he has performed various office procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic paracentesis, suturing and stapling lacerations, skin tag removal, incision & drainage, intramuscular injections, and plantar fascia injection. He holds membership with the American Society of Nutrition, Obesity Society, and American College of Physicians. His extracurricular interests include biking and playing tennis.
