A resident of Morganton, North Carolina, Vicki Poitinger is involved in real estate and property management, as well as buying and selling land. She maintains a focus on increasing property value through cosmetic and structural improvements. Outside of her professional pursuits, Vicki Poitinger is interested in environmental issues and is an avid gardener, weaver, and guitar and banjo enthusiast.
Community involved, Ms. Poitinger has volunteered with the Burke Literacy Council, where she tutored children and women in reading and writing. She pursued studies in areas such as marketing, financing, and employee relations at Montreat College, completing her BS in business in 1998. She also holds an MBA with an emphasis on leadership development from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.
Vicki Poitinger’s professional background includes positions with Continental Teves in Asheville. In roles ranging from senior material analyst to maintenance technician, she managed transportation across three facilities spanning domestic and foreign freight and was responsible for quality control on the assembly line.
