Ulana Rey

Ulana Rey, PharmD, is a Doctor of Pharmacy, biotech consultant, and entrepreneur based in San Francisco. She is the Founder and CEO of MindLumina, a biotech consulting, competitive intelligence, and medical communications firm serving biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and medical device companies, academic institutions, and venture capital and investment banking firms.

Dr. Rey has more than 25 years of experience across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, academic research, and consulting, with more than 20 product launches and more than 90 drug and medical device products spanning multiple therapeutic areas. She previously served on the executive leadership team at Otonomy as Senior Director of Medical Affairs and National Medical Science Liaisons, and held medical affairs leadership roles at Cadence Pharmaceuticals and Gilead Sciences.

She earned her PharmD from the University of California, San Francisco, completed her residency at Stanford University, and provides expertise on artificial intelligence tools and automation in biotech.
