Through this podcast and various initiatives, Winterhof strives to educate, entertain, and empower farmers to make informed decisions and implement growth strategies that drive profitability.
Born and raised in the heartland of Storm Lake, Iowa, Tanner Winterhof developed a deep connection to the land and a love for farming from an early age. Growing up on a swine and row-crop farm, he witnessed firsthand the hard work, dedication, and resilience required to succeed in the agricultural industry. These formative years instilled in him a strong work ethic, a passion for agriculture, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of farmers.

Winterhof pursued his academic journey at AIB College of Business, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and financial services. His educational background provided him with a solid foundation in business principles and financial management, which he later applied to his career.

Tanner Winterhof's journey as a content creator and co-host of the “Farm4Profit Podcast” began as a response to a lack of independent educational resources for farmers.. Recognizing the need for a platform to educate and engage with farmers, he co-founded Farm4Profit LLC in December 2014. What started as a business prospecting tool quickly evolved into a popular podcast with a dedicated following.

The “Farm4Profit Podcast” has gained immense popularity, with numerous episodes and over 1.5million downloads to date. One of Winterhof's most memorable episodes featured Justin Bruch, who shared his experiences in farming across four different continents. This episode exemplified the podcast's commitment to providing valuable insights and diverse perspectives to its listeners.

While the “Farm4Profit Podcast” covers a wide range of topics, Winterhof is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of business and fatherhood. In one episode, he delved into the impact of parenting on business success, offering valuable advice on involving children in decision-making processes. This unique perspective resonated with listeners and showcased Winterhof’s ability to provide practical insights that extend beyond the realm of agriculture.

The “Farm4Profit Podcast” was initially conceived as a means to promote business and connect with potential clients. However, it quickly gained traction and transformed into a platform for educating and entertaining farmers. Winterhof’s dedication to providing listener-friendly, educational, and nonpolitical content has been instrumental in the podcast's success.
