Suzanne DeWitt is an active member of Miami, Florida’s cultural society. A passionate art fan, she is particularly fond of the Art Basel event held in Florida each year. During Art Basel, she participates in several concurrent events, including the Gold Rush event that was held several years ago by Russell Simmons on behalf of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Beyond her involvement in Art Basel, Suzanne DeWitt attended the Weismann Institute Soiree in Miami in 2010 and was affiliated with the Hat Luncheon held to support the Vizcaya museum.

Professionally, Ms. DeWitt divides her time between serving as the owner of DEWITT, PLLC, a law firm focused on domestic and international taxation and international private banking, and providing leadership to Valora as principal. In the latter position, she offers a full range of performance management, corporate finance, fund administration, and accounting services.

Ms. DeWitt accepted her current roles after spending two decades holding such positions as an experienced senior at Arthur Andersen, LLP, and senior associate at Baker & McKenzie, LLP. During this time, she spoke at several professional seminars and wrote about various topics related to her field. Before that, she studied law, taxation, and business at the University of Miami, ultimately earning her JD, MBA, and LLM.
