Sunny Sahu

A former president of the Federal Bar Association chapter and life fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Saura “Sunny” Sahu is an experienced legal professional based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a founding principal of the boutique law firm Clancy Advisors, which emphasizes venture capital investments and emerging business entities. In this role since 2017, Saura “Sunny” Sahu has successfully represented clients in litigation and presided over successful business mergers, while at the same time managing the firm's operations. He has insight into various areas of law, from issues affecting emerging companies in technology industries to private equity and securities law.

Mr. Sahu earned a bachelor’s degree in political philosophy from the University of Michigan, LSA Honors College before continuing his education at the University of Michigan Law School. Prior to receiving his juris doctor, he served as the executive articles editor for the Michigan Journal of Race and Law and as a Wolverine Bar Association Damon J. Keith Scholar. In addition to his law practice, he has also conducted graduate work in philosophy, focusing on logic and theory of scientific truth, at Western Michigan University.
