A member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Steve Maher owns and operates his financial planning firm in Oradell, New Jersey. As president of Maher Financial Services, Steve Maher brings more than 30 years of expertise with investments and insurance plans.
Mr. Maher began his career in 1972 at Penn Mutual Life Insurance, located in the historic Chrysler Building in New York City, offering life and health policies, estate planning, and fixed annuities. Ten years later, he started his own firm offering similar products. Based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, he partnered with lawyers and accountants to develop estate plans and wills for his clientele.
Now an independent agent, Mr. Maher selects optimal insurance packages to fit individual needs. His productivity has been honored many times, winning awards such as the Silver Key Production Award from Bankers Life. Mr. Maher has also received the Stars Award for ten consecutive years from Jackson National, the Award of Excellence from American Portfolios, and the Sapphire Advisor Achievement Award from Next National.
Mr. Maher is an alumnus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business. He augments his knowledge base by attending industry gatherings and shares what he has learned with the public through seminars. He has contributed to the community through coaching youth sports.
