In addition to Camp Officer's duties, officer in charge (in alternance with other UN security officers) of the UN Security of the largest camp (Site 2) with a population of approx. 170,000 displaced persons, and several hundreds expatriate volunteers.
Detailed Description
As the camp was situated in a war zone, shelling and other war-related incidents, together with serious inner-camps domestic violence required a strict adherence to Security and Evacuations guidelines.
Achievements include, among others, the proper management of the first “Situation 4” (highest) in the camp in 1988 (shelling).
