About Me
An accomplished radiologist and preventive medicine practitioner who lives and works in Santa Clara County, California, Dr. Sepideh Moayed has been certified through the American Board of Radiology since 1999. For the past seven years, she has practiced radiology at the Los Gatos Medical Center in the small but affluent town of Los Gatos. Dr. Sepideh Moayed’s responsibilities at the medical center include working with emergency room and urgent care physicians and when warranted utilizing imaging to rule out emergencies such as appendicitis, diverticulitis, abdominal infections, bleeding, head injuries, lung clots and pneumonia.

Dr. Sepideh Moayed has concurrently headed Los Gatos’ Preventative Medicine Inc since founding it in 2019. This practice focuses on disease prevention, evidence based intervention and mind body medicine. She believes it takes a multifaceted and preemptive approach to preventing a broad spectrum of common chronic diseases-sequelae of epigenetics, environmental stressors, carcinogens and daily lifestyle choices.

Dr. Moayed lives in the nearby town of Los Altos Hills, where she relaxes by cooking and baking. She also enjoys expressing herself creatively through media that range from photography and painting to kitting and jewelry making. She wholeheartedly believes in the power and potential of neuroplasticity and believes creativity to be the catalyst. She believes that creativity not only fights cognitive decline but increases overall joy and contentment.
