A graduate of the New School in New York, Sawyer Petrick earned his BA in media studies with a screenwriting concentration. With a strong interest in the television and film industries, Sawyer Petrick took part in the institution’s 9th Annual Voice/Over Script Reading Competition. For his capstone project, he completed a screenplay "The Newsboy Racket” that earned high honors.
Mr. Petrick has an extensive background in the New York hospitality industry and gained early experience as special projects intern with the ARK Restaurant Group. Among his accomplishments, he created a diverse range of public relations and marketing materials, from flyers and e-blasts to social media posts. He also took on administrative duties and helped manage daily income projections via point-of-sale systems spanning all local ARK locations.
Mr. Petrick subsequently accepted bar back responsibilities at operations such as the Union Square Cafe and the Bryant Park Grill. With extensive knowledge of front-of-house service positions within busy restaurant locations, Sawyer Petrick has earned EBS certification through the New York Bartending School.
