The recipient of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Samuel Caruthers completed an anesthesiology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and practiced at Northwest Hospital, in Randallstown, Maryland, among other medical facilities in Maryland and New Jersey. Dr. Samuel Caruthers now leverages more than two decades of experience to provide pain management treatment to patients at New Jersey Interventional Pain Center. He launched the practice and has since grown it to include six offices throughout New Jersey.
Complementing his experience, Dr. Sam Caruthers holds membership with the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and North American Neuromodulation Society. His extracurricular interests include playing the guitar, listening to audiobooks, watching football, and spending time with his family. His favorite NFL franchise is the Washington Football Team.
