A four-year member of the men’s varsity soccer team at the University of Kentucky, Robert T. Frey graduated from the school in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Following the completion of his undergraduate studies, Robert T. Frey joined the Johnson & Johnson-affiliated DuPuy Orthopedics as an associate sales representative. In this position, he focused on selling the company's newly created osteobiologics sales portfolio while undertaking a corporate-based product education and sales program.
After facilitating $350,000 in first-year growth, Robert T. Frey earned a promotion to sales team leader with DuPuy-Synthes, where he headed a six-member sales team from 2003 to 2015. During this time, he oversaw $1 million in growth of the company's total joint-reconstruction business segment and garnered the Outstanding Participation Award for his work in creating a website for Johnson & Johnson's medical device products.
From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Frey served as territory sales manager with DuPuy-Synthes. There, he oversaw $3 million growth in a multi-state territory that included Kentucky and comprised 20 sales professionals. He also contributed to the Attune Revision Total Knee Advisory Team and the Orion Project Advisory Team, the latter of which worked on an acetabular implant project.
