A longtime resident of Louisiana, Robert Myer graduated from Louisiana College in Pineville with a bachelor of arts in management and marketing. He subsequently began working with Rapides (Chase) Bank. After 3 years as a Rapides (Chase) commercial loan officer, Robert Myer where he worked with State Farm Insurance from 1987 to 2001.
He eventually parted ways with State Farm as a vice president of agency and went into business for himself as the owner and operator of Myer Enterprises. This organization continues to manage a portfolio of real estate properties in Louisiana and Mississippi. Robert Myer concurrently owned and operated a chain of Express Employment Professionals staffing offices from 2001 to 2018 and a chain of Comfort Keepers in-home senior care offices from 2007 to 2019. Since 2019, he has worked in the financial services sector heading his business Myer Retail Services which expands throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Missouri.
