Robert M. Ryerson is a Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF) with more than three decades of experience in the financial industry. With further certification as an Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist, he is particularly knowledgeable on the topic of identity theft in the United States. He recently wrote and published the book What’s the Deal With Identity Theft: A Plain English Look at Our Fastest Growing Crime. Robert M. Ryerson previously co-authored What You Don’t Know About Retirement Will Hurt You. He also teaches continuing-education classes for Certified Public Accountants and has been invited to various speaking engagements that highlight common retirement planning issues, such as required minimum distribution from IRAs and other retirement instruments. Over the course of his career in finance, he has gained experience in areas of estate administration and legacy planning.

Mr. Ryerson is an economics graduate of Rutgers University. He has engaged in a variety of additional teaching opportunities, particularly as an identity-theft educator at the community college level.
