About Me
A former All-American swimmer and rower at Harvard University, RoAnn Costin earned a bachelor of arts in government. After graduating, she served as an executive assistant to the dean of Harvard University, contributing to the development of academic policy and core courses, including a postdoctoral program for women and minorities. RoAnn Costin also holds a master of business administration from Stanford University.

After spending six years as a portfolio manager at State Street Research & Management, where she co-managed $200 million in pension fund accounts, Ms. Costin served as senior vice president of Putnam Investments. Since 2005, she has served as managing director of Wilderness Point Investments in Cambridge, Massachusetts, investing in successful retail brands such as Sarah Flint, a luxury online shoe company. A mentor, early investor, and member of the board of directors with the company, Ms. Costin helped Sarah Flint grow from a wholesale brand into an exclusively online brand whose high-profile clientele includes Meghan Markle and Lady Gaga.

RoAnn Costin balances her professional responsibilities with a number of hobbies. An avid swimmer, she earned first place in the Boston Light 12-mile swim, and she also enjoys playing tennis and traveling.
