About Me
Rashad Robinson is a proven social justice strategist and organizational leader with over two decades of experience building movements, scaling organizations, and driving policy change at the intersection of technology, media, and social justice. Currently serving as President of Rashad Robinson Advisors and Principal of the Impact Strategy Initiative, he provides strategic counsel to foundations, startups, and movement organizations on narrative infrastructure, corporate accountability, and integrated campaign strategy.

His expertise includes designing winning campaigns across Silicon Valley, Hollywood, and Wall Street, with notable successes including orchestrating a $7 billion corporate accountability campaign and launching movements that changed industry practices at major tech platforms. Robinson has advised C-suite executives, testified before Congress on algorithmic bias, and consulted on initiatives ranging from corporate policy development to entertainment content strategy.

Robinson previously served as president of Color of Change, building and scaling the organization into America's most influential digital advocacy platform with over 7 million members and operations across four national offices. His work covers the full spectrum of modern organizing—from digital platform governance and technology policy to corporate engagement and media strategy.
Before his advocacy work, Robinson led programmatic initiatives at GLAAD during pivotal years of LGBTQ+ advancement and served in democracy reform roles at FairVote and The Right to Vote Campaign. He co-chaired the Aspen Institute's Commission on Information Disorder and currently serves on the board of the Marguerite Casey Foundation.

Robinson holds a B.A. in political science from Marymount University and is an Atlantic Fellow for Racial Equity. His insights on power, narrative, and organizational strategy have been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, and major media outlets. Robinson operates from New York, speaking internationally on AI bias, platform accountability, and democratic participation in digital spaces.
