An accomplished financial planner and minister, Randyl Taber holds a bachelor of arts in history and business administration/economics from Greenville University and a master of divinity from the George Fox Evangelical Seminary. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with the College of Financial Planning. For more than 20 years, Randyl Taber served as an investment broker with AG Edwards and Sons, where he consistently ranked as a top producer in the firm and was recognized as a member of the Chairman's Council. When AG Edwards and Sons was acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors, Taber continued for 10 more years of service with successor firm.
Since 2017, Mr. Taber has headed Taber Financial Advisors, LLC, as president, providing a range of financial management and estate planning services, as well as offering continuing education and public investment education courses in the United States and abroad. Mr. Taber balances his professional responsibilities with humanitarian work. Recently, he accepted a volunteer position as capital campaign director for Mercy Compassion, an initiative to relocate and expand Bethesda Medical Center. The center is an independent Christian medical ministry in Cap Haitian, Haiti serving the rural poor in the northern department of Haiti since 1970. Now, in its 50th year of service, the board of Bethesda Medical Center has acquired land to enlarge its services, including a new nurse training school and expansion of facilities to treat tuberculosis and HIV/Aids patients in cooperation with the Health Ministry of Haiti.
Bethesda Medical Center is governed by an nidependent board of two Haitians, two Americans and two Canadians according to Haitian law. Dr. Rodney Baptiste is the clinic director and David Graffenberger of Albany, Oregon is the board chairman. David Graffenberger, and his wife, Marilyn, have been missionaries in Haiti since 1956. Mr. Graffenberger is the board chairman of Mercy Compassion, a global humanitarian aid organization serving the poor from Latin America and Haiti to Africa and Bangladesh in Asia. Mercy Compassion is a ministry partner with One Mission Society which founded in Japan in 1901, now serves in 72 nations of the world.
