About Me
A law student at New York Law School, Rachel Lader has served in several legal internship positions. Moreover, Rachel Lader has worked as a volunteer in a number of settings.

In addition to helping champion equality and freedom as a volunteer with Realizing the Dream, a social justice-focused nonprofit guided by Martin Luther King III, Ms. Lader was a volunteer mentor and campaign organizer with Best Buddies, where she worked with Anthony Kennedy Shriver and his mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, to increase the organization’s exposure. Around this same time, she served as a member of the Citizens Committee for former New York City Comptroller William Thompson, who was campaigning for mayor of New York City. As such, Rachel Lader helped in fundraising efforts for the campaign.

Ms. Lader’s experience includes a legal internship with Tangent-EHR, where she observed medical billing cases handled both in arbitration hearings and within a court setting. More recently, in the summer of 2018 she interned for Presiding Justice Acosta of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, First Judicial Department, where she was tasked with the review of various legal briefs. She is presently a legal intern with Hach & Rose, LLP, and handles issues such as legal summons and complaints, as well as trial preparation.
