After spending 4 years in Belgium at the beginning of my career, recruited by my thesis teacher, I started in Luxembourg as analyst-developer, in charge of migrating a legacy banking software to an OpenVMS platform. I evolved during 24 years around the IBSY banking software with some great achievements to my credit: • introduction of the Uniface 4GL language for GUI improvement, • migration to the Oracle relational database, • porting of the application to Solaris Unix, • implementation of a high availability platform. After taking responsibility for the R&D unit with 4 team members, I ended up as product manager for this IBSY banking software with supervision of 20 employees. With the decline of Private Banking in Luxembourg, I made a transition to new IT technologies and Web projects. In 2015, I launched my own company SimplyCIT to develop ERP software and the controlling activity. I immediately became an Odoo partner. Due to its strong growth, the Odoo activity could not be covered by internal resources, so the support of a larger structure became necessary. In April 2019, Xpertiz and SimplyCIT pooled an Odoo business unit that I currently manage.
