As the head of a consulting firm that she established in 2019, Pam Northrup is an experienced educational professional with a specialty in higher education. Through her firm, Pam Northrup offers her clients services focused on return to campus from COVID-19, workforce development, online learning, and innovation, among other areas.
Before starting her career, Dr. Northrup earned a bachelor of science in elementary education. Following this, she attended Florida State University to earn a master’s degree in instructional systems before obtaining a doctorate in instructional systems/educational media in 1993 from the same institution.
After graduating, Pam Northrup became a coordinator of instructional technology at a public higher education institution. Over the following decades, she received several promotions and became the chief executive officer of the university’s Innovation Institute and vice president of research..
During this time, Dr. Northup also served as a professor with the university, having previously served as an assistant and associate professor.
