Nathaniel Panza is a finance and accounting professional based in New Jersey, currently working as an Associate at Brio Financial Group. His day to day centers on advising 20+ clients across a range of industries on IPO readiness, capital markets preparation, and SEC reporting, primarily for emerging growth companies and SPAC-related transactions. He spends a lot of time in valuation work, trading comparables, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow modeling, and building out financial models and market landscapes that help clients think through growth opportunities and capital structure decisions. He also works directly with C-suite executives, auditors, legal counsel, and senior bankers to keep transactions moving from start to finish.
Before Brio, Nathaniel interned as a Hedge Fund Analyst at Yorkville Advisors Global, a $510 million AUM fund focused on flexible capital solutions for micro-cap and small-cap companies. That experience gave him a real foundation in capital structure analysis and alternative investment strategies, including PIPEs and convertible debt. He also spent time as a Student Analyst in Baylor's Small-Cap Portfolio Management Practicum, helping manage a $1.2 million student-run fund and co-authoring a report for the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
Nathaniel graduated cum laude from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business with a 3.9 GPA (3.97 in his major), and he was part of the school's B.E.S.T leadership program, where he worked directly with CEOs and entrepreneurs on real business cases and delivered pro bono consulting to local nonprofits.
Outside of work, Nathaniel completed Ironman Texas in 2025, finishing top 10 in his age group. When he's not working, he's usually outdoors, surfing, cliff jumping, hiking, spearfishing, or fly fishing.
