About Me
A college professor with experience in public school administration, Nancy Casella teaches at St. John's University and Hunter College of the University of New York. In preparation for her career, she earned a doctor of education in education administration at St. John’s University. Prior to her doctoral studies, Nancy Casella secured a master of arts in forensic psychology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Nancy Casella started out in public education as a special education instructor to students in grades seven through nine. After several years as teacher, she transitioned to an administrative role as an education evaluator in the Special Education Department. Soon, she became an assistant principal, a position she would hold at several schools in New York City before moving on to more advanced administrative positions such as regional administrator for special education and principal.
