About Me
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in general studies, Miranda Rader worked as a barista at the La La Land Kind Café in Dallas. She received guests warmly, took orders accurately, and served food and coffee on time, spreading positive energy in her interactions with customers. Less than a year after joining the café, Miranda Rader was promoted to shift leader, managing closing procedures and inventory.
Ms. Rader left the La La Kind Café in September 2021 to join KD College Prep, where she works as a math tutor and client advisor. Her roles include managing the learning center, advising clients during parent-student conferences, and tutoring high school students in preparation for PSAT, SAT, and ACT tests. Some of her previous roles while still in college included working as an open-house greeter for Urban Living Real Estate and a server at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. In her free time, Ms. Rader enjoys painting, drawing, and community service. She has actively volunteered for Houston Pets Alive.
