This MSc project is based on the application of SRA: Strategic risk appraisal is the analysis of risks (technical, social and financial; with a variety of attributes) across an organisation’s portfolio.
This project will develop an evidence base in the areas of soil, air and water pollution, using readily available data from sources including the Environment Agency and Defra, to provide a comparison of different types of pollution and evaluate whether a proposed mechanism of prioritisation will work with these different types of pollution.
The MSc project looks to adress:
How a proposed SRA tool could be used when comparing three different areas of pollution;
The use of such a tool to inform decision processes; and
The communication of the information within the tool.
