Michael Cluck

As the owner of the sole proprietorship Bay Area Spine Care since 2013, Michael Warren Cluck, MD, PhD has been practicing as a back and neck surgeon in San Jose, California, for over a decade. Before settling in San Jose, Michael Warren Cluck, MD, PhD served 3 years as an orthopedic spine surgeon with the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale.

In addition to leading Bay Area Spine Care, orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Michael Cluck teaches as an Associate Clinical Professor and as an attending spine surgeon with the University of California, San Francisco. This position builds on decades of academic work that includes administrative and/or teaching positions at multiple postsecondary institutions. Dr. Cluck’s published work includes “Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion for Axial Neck Pain and Spinal Cord Compression” in the Inaugural Bohlman Spine Lecture Series and New Technologies for the Treatment of Back Pain in the Community Lecture Series of El Camino Hospital in Saratoga, California.
