The founder of CorpGen Counsel in 2005, Michael Carroll is an Irvine, California-based entrepreneur and lawyer. Over the past 15 years, Michael Carroll has served as managing partner of the Irvine-based firm, where he is an adviser and strategic partner to clients.
Working with firms at various stages of development, he provides cost and time-effective legal services. Through this work, he looks to overcome the challenges typically faced by executive management and entrepreneurs. Since establishing the firm, he has worked with privately-held and family-owned organizations alongside publicly-traded companies.
Before Michael Carroll moved to Irvine, he had an extensive legal career in New York City. A former senior vice president and general counsel at Medallion Financial Corp., he oversaw a massive reduction in external legal fees. He also advised the board of directors, chairman, and other stakeholders on numerous legal and business strategies.
An American University alumnus, Mr. Carroll has a bachelor of arts in political science. He subsequently attended St. John's University School of Law, where he earned his juris doctor.
