Since 1998, Mel Brencius has served as an elementary school teacher with Buena Park School District in California. He has worked with children in grades four to six for his entire career, and he relishes the unique opportunities he has to help young people develop and flourish. Mel Brencius prides himself on setting an example of leadership in the classroom while developing lesson plans that serve the needs of all of his students.
As a teacher, Mel Brencius is responsible for managing classrooms and effectively communicating with younger students. He leverages technology in his lessons and takes a collaborative approach to work with parents, which allows him to tailor lessons and provide individual mentorship as needed. Mr. Brencius distinguishes himself through the confidence he displays when standing in front of a class and the creativity he brings to his lessons.
Away from his work, Mel Brencius enjoys attending sporting events and concerts. He is also a family man who delights in spending time with his daughter as she develops into a powerful and upstanding citizen.
