An experienced Chicago executive, Mary Tritsis has served as President of Kindness is Doing Something Special for Kids (K.I.D.S.S. for Kids) since 2009. In this role, she leads the charitable organization in raising money to support the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Recently, she helped raise money through an annual golfing fundraiser at RIdgemoor Country Club. The event, which attracted more than 100 golfers, raised over $115,000 to support Family Services at the hospital. Since the organization’s founding, Mary Tritsis has helped raise approximately $15 million.
Mary Tritsis has nearly 30 decades of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President for BankFinancial in Burr Ridge. Charged with leading customer experience initiatives, she provided strategic leadership for up to 300 associates across 19 branches. She previously held several positions with First American Bank in Elk Grove Village. She recently accepted the position of Director of Lending at Accion who helps provide access to capital to entrepreneurs throughout Illinois and Indiana.
A member of the Northbrook Woman’s Club, she formerly served as a board member and a co-chair for the club’s annual gala. Ms. Tritsis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in personnel management from Loyola University in Chicago.
