I've spent 30+ years trying to make things people actually remember. That started as a copywriter and evolved into leading some of the world's most recognized creative work — Nike, Old Spice, Coca-Cola, Levi's — at Wieden+Kennedy, and eventually founding my own agency, Opinionated, in Portland.
Outside the work, I'm drawn to science fiction that wrestles with big questions about identity and reality — Philip K. Dick has been a long-running obsession. That curiosity about "what if" tends to bleed into how I think about brands and storytelling.
I co-produced the short film Tempbot with director Neill Blomkamp, which scratched a lifelong itch to work on the other side of the screen.
