A graduate of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Lisa Galper holds both a doctor of psychology (APA accredited) and a master of science in clinical psychology. While studying at NSU, she gained valuable professional counseling experience as a psychology trainee with the campus Family Violence Program. Lisa Galper is licensed through the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
Building on decades of clinical work with a range of counseling organizations in both Florida and Arizona, Lisa Galper has guided her own private psychology practice since 2004. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, she diagnoses and treats patients for conditions such as emotional eating, trauma recovery, and borderline personality disorder. She also works with clients to resolve depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. Dr. Galper takes great satisfaction in helping people take control of their lives while in overwhelming circumstances, helping them tap into an inner core of serenity and peace of mind.
